Since Jackie Robinson has walked this earth he has been viewed through the eyes of the world as being an iconic hero not only through the eyes of the people that were grately affected with his role in baseball during the Civil Rights Movement, but through the watchful eyes of the world. Once Jackie entered the major leagues and showed people that sports weren't just centered around one ethnicity people started seeing the other side of African Americans. There were few Americans that thought if the African Americans were able to "intrude" on their entertainment they were able to get jobs, education, and other necestities that whites were able to do because of their rights.
Additionally, his involvement in an American pastime eventually led to the integration of all ethnicities in all sports across the world. The mindsets of other ethinicities on the brink of a break through of integration all over the world, were on the side of negativity not looking on the upside of a situation. With the involvement of Jackie Robinson in Major League Basbeall those mindsets were changed from "We can't" to "We can" attitudes. With Jackie's help more and more people from different countries with different colored skin entered major sports to showcase more of their talent on a bigger, more known stage. He kept doing what he loved the most even though nasty people where threatening his life if played another game in Major League Baseball.
